Job summary

PATH Recruitment is recruiting a Field Service Engineer for a well‑established construction business covering the North. Salary is £40,000–£45,000 plus a company van and fuel card.

You will diagnose faults, service and repair plant machinery on customer sites across the North; you must have a full driving licence and your own tools. Overtime is available and training/development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience on plant machinery, agricultural machinery, heavy equipment or related sectors.
• Full driving licence and own tools required.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical faults, service and repair independently at customer sites.
• Strong customer-facing communication and planning to cover the North region.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults, service and repair plant machinery at customer sites across the North.
• Work with excavators, wheel loaders, dumpers and similar equipment and minimise downtime.
• Travel to customer sites with own tools and maintain service quality.
