Job summary

A leading engineering firm in East Kilbride is seeking a Mobile Service Technician for the industrial crane sector. The role involves preventative maintenance and repair of electric overhead cranes, troubleshooting and consulting with customers. Candidates should have apprenticeship training and experience in electrical engineering, with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to safety. Qualifications

• Must be apprentice-trained or equivalent and fully conversant with electrical engineering disciplines.
• Experience with electrical: 415v ac 3 phase motor contactor control circuits and mechanical: drive couplings and gearboxes.
• Good grasp of the English language (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on electric overhead cranes.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
• Consult with customers on repair and safety issues.
