Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Technician (Mechanical / Hydraulic) based mainly in the field across the UK. The role involves installing, servicing, maintaining and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical recycling equipment.

You will travel to sites across the UK and Ireland, with 95% field-based work and weekly trips to the office to collect stock. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a field-based engineering position.
• Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of automotive recycling equipment.
• Diagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Travel to sites across the UK and Ireland; attend the office once a week to collect stock.
