Job summary

Leigh Academies Trust is seeking a committed Mobile Facilities Assistant to join the Estates Team. You will support the care of academy premises with general maintenance, minor repairs, refurbishment works, porterage and related duties, ensuring health and safety and security.

The role covers Leigh Academy Tree Tops, Leigh Academy Oaks, Leigh Academy Molehill and Leigh Academy Langley Park; candidates must travel between sites and be flexible with hours. Salary £26,016 per annum plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Good DIY skills and practical problem solving.
• Knowledge of health and safety best practices.
• Basic IT skills and safeguarding understanding.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Estates Team with care of academy premises and a range of maintenance duties.
• Undertake minor repairs and refurbishment works as needed.
• Provide porterage and support to the Facilities Manager to secure health, safety and security of the site.
• Be flexible to cover duties of other team members and travel between sites.
