Leigh Academies Trust is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join the Estates team at Sir Geoffrey Leigh Academy in Dartford, starting September 2026. You will take full responsibility for care, maintenance and safety across multiple academies and lead a team of Facilities Assistants.
Knowledge of Health and Safety is essential, with a focus on compliance and an proactive, flexible approach to cover events and holidays.

Leigh Academies Trust has a fantastic opportunity to appoint an experienced and knowledgeable Facilities Manager to join our Estates team, starting in September 2026. Our successful candidate will have previous premises management experience, taking full responsibility for the care and maintenance of academies located in Dartford.
You will be a key player in ensuring the high standards of compliance are maintained and that facilities are safe and fit for purpose. You will manage a team of Facilities Assistants and work closely with the Estates Service Delivery Manager to ensure that the internal and external environment is conducive to the promotion of learning.
A knowledge of Health and Safety is essential to this role as well as being able to communicate effectively.

This is a permanent, full time role offering £33,190 per annum. The working hours are Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm with a 3:30 pm finish on a Friday. Our successful candidate will also need to be flexible to cover events and holidays.
