Job summary

Build Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mobile Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical bias) covering Southeast and Greater London. You will perform high-quality PPM and reactive maintenance across a diverse commercial portfolio, ensuring buildings remain safe, compliant and fully operational.

Overtime is available and on-call duties may apply. The role requires Level 3 qualifications in Electrical Installation or Mechanical Building Services, with strong fault-finding and safety compliance

Qualifications

Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent).
Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services (City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent).
Experience with electrical maintenance, fault-finding and compliance in FM environments.
Desirable HVAC experience and related F-Gas certification for applicable mechanical roles.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across multiple commercial sites.
Diagnose, fault-find and repair electrical or mechanical systems as per your specialism.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with clients and occupants.
Complete accurate maintenance reports, job sheets and CAFM system updates.
Assist with minor installations, upgrades and project work when required.
Participate in an on-call rota where applicable.
