Job summary

Velocity Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Mobile Engineer (Electrical) to cover North & East London contracts for a global facilities management provider. The role involves performing repairs, preventive maintenance and service on building services and electrical systems across multiple sites.

You will inspect equipment for safety, plan and estimate repairs, support energy efficiency and ensure compliance with building codes.

Qualifications

• Recognised or time-served apprenticeship in electrical maintenance.
• City & Guilds 236 Pt 1-3, 18th Edition or equivalent.
• Experience in FM/Building Services environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical, mechanical, and building systems.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and estimate time/materials needed to complete repairs.
• Manage and track completion of tasks.
• Support energy management for efficient operation of systems.
• Inspect installations for code and safety compliance.
• Communicate clearly with clients, co-workers and supervisors.

Job Title - Mobile Engineer (Electrical)

My client is a leading global provider of integrated facilities management and they are recruiting for a Mobile Engineer to cover several established contracts around North & East London.

As a Mobile Engineer, they will perform repairs and tend & maintain several buildings, commercial systems, equipment, and building services. They would be responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical, mechanical and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
• Manage and track completion.
• Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.
• Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
