Job summary

Build Recruitment is seeking a Mobile Engineer with electrical or mechanical bias to cover a diverse portfolio across Southeast and Greater London. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on commercial sites, diagnosing faults, and ensuring safe, compliant operations.

The role requires strong fault-finding, a proactive customer-focused approach, and the ability to work independently across a mobile workload with a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering planned and reactive maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience within Facilities Management or Building Services.
• Good understanding of health & safety and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across multiple commercial sites.
• Diagnose and repair faults on electrical or mechanical systems.
• Ensure works comply with health & safety, compliance and industry standards.
• Provide professional customer service to clients and site users.
• Complete accurate maintenance documentation and CAFM updates.
• Support minor installations and project works as required.
• Identify issues and recommend remedial actions.
• Participate in on-call rota where applicable.
