Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting a Mobile Fabric Engineer to work on a commercial portfolio across Kent. The role offers a basic salary of £34,000 per year with travel time allowance and a 40-hour week from Monday to Friday.

You will perform fabric maintenance tasks such as emergency lighting tests, painting, basic carpentry/plumbing, and liaise with on-site teams. A company van, pension, healthcare and dental options are provided.

Qualifications

• Level 1 or 2 in plumbing or fabric trade.
• Strong administration and organisational skills.
• Clean UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Emergency lighting and fire alarm tests.
• Painting and decorating.
• Basic lighting installations.
• Basic carpentry and plumbing tasks.
• Repairing furniture and fittings.
• Hang pictures and shelves.
• Maintain and update log books.
• Assist on-site maintenance team.
• Escort subcontractors on site.
• Carry out basic fabric duties such as touching up paint, tightening hinges, blinds, locks, and minor repairs.

CBW is currently recruiting for an established Fabric Maintenance Engineer to work across a commercial contract in the Kent area (Dartford, UK ● Gravesend, UK ● Kent, UK ● Maidstone, UK ● Rochester, UK ● Sidcup, UK ● Swanley) for a leading FM Service Provider In return, the company is offering a competitive salary, further training, and career progression.

Hours of work & Package

• Basic Salary of £34,000
• Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm - 40 hour week
• Paid travel time up to £4,000 per annum
• Call out 1 in 6
