Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Mobile Fabric Technician to respond to reactive works and carry out maintenance across facilities. You will liaise with client representatives and undertake surveys, risk assessments, and method statements for planned works.

The role requires carpentry experience, COSHH/HEIGHTS knowledge and IOSH/NEBOSH qualifications, with a focus on safety, punctuality and reliable task execution in a high-profile environment.

Qualifications

• Previous Fabric and Carpentry experience.
• Experience in high profile environments.
• COSHH, Working at Heights and Risk Assessment knowledge.
• IOSH and/or NEBOSH Health and Safety qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Respond to reactive works within the team.
• Complete maintenance tasks within agreed timescales.
• Liaise with client representatives on maintenance & repair tasks.
• Undertake site surveys and prepare works requests, method statements and risk assessments.
• Repair floor and wall coverings.
• Ceiling tile repairs and replacements.
• Lighting and lamp changes, AHU/FCU filters, basic plumbing.
• Use PDA to record work and communicate updates.
• Complete reactive, PPM and project work promptly.
• Undertake minor project works.
• Ensure all works comply with Health and Safety at Work regulations.
• Perform tasks as directed by the Technical Services Manager.
