Job summary

Wellspring Academy Trust in North Yorkshire is seeking a Mobile Senior Site Operative to lead estates compliance and maintenance across multiple academies. The role will work flexibly across sites, ensuring safe, clean and well‑managed learning environments.

You will monitor the TRM estates system, supervise site operatives, support policy implementation, and contribute to five-year maintenance planning while upholding safeguarding and DBS checks.

Qualifications

• Safeguarding responsibility and DBS checks are standard for the role.
• Role requires compliance with health and safety regulations and local codes of practice.
• Experience in estates maintenance across multiple sites is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and update the estates management system (TRM) across sites and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Supervise site operatives and allocate day-to-day duties.
• Assist with implementing systems, policies and procedures for smooth site operations.
• Contribute to development of estates across academies to improve buildings and grounds for teaching and learning.
• Support the long-term 5-year maintenance cycle and contractor coordination.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and respond to repairs within skill set.
