Job summary

Equans is seeking an Engineering Supervisor on a permanent basis for the Wheatley Contract, based from Bellshill and covering the surrounding area. This full-time role (40 hours/week) offers a salary of £44,412.57 per year with a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include leading a mobile engineering team across mechanical and electrical disciplines, ensuring safe, compliant operations, managing CAFM diaries for PPM and reactive work, and delivering excellent customer service as

Qualifications

• Essential recognised industry qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
• I-deally IOSH qualified.
• First aid trained is preferable but not essential.
• Proficiency in using basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise team members, including specialist sub-contractors, safely and efficiently.
• Apply multi-skilled expertise across Mechanical and Electrical disciplines for maintenance and repairs.
• Prepare, review and enforce risk assessments, method statements and COSHH documentation.
• Mentor engineers and promote skill development across the team.
• Utilise CAFM systems to manage PPM and reactive repair workflows.
• Maintain compliance records and certifications for audit readiness.
• Oversee invoicing and manage Work in Progress (WIP).
• Represent Equans to customers, ensuring service quality and meeting SLAs.
