The Vacancy

MOBILE PLUMBING & HEATING ENGINEER

Here at Wates, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Mobile Engineer with a Plumbing & Heating Bias to join our dedicated mobile team supporting our client based in Leeds, Yorkshire.

The main objective is to carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance in accordance with contract requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have the following:

  • Knowledge of mechanical and building services maintenance
  • Plumbing qualification such as NVQ or City & Guilds
  • Good knowledge of a plant room and day-to-day building maintenance

Key Accountabilities will include:

  • Ensure all works are delivered in guidance of the legislation and contractual obligations and in accordance with industry legislation
  • Utilise CAFM/PDA technology for real-time job updates, and provide detailed reports on works delivered
  • Respond promptly and effectively to all reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests related to mechanical systems
  • Respond to call outs and cover breakdowns and emergencies related to mechanical services as required
