Job summary

Selwood Ltd is expanding its electrical division and seeks a Mobile Electrician to support branches and customer sites across the south region from Bridgend. You will install, service and repair electrical and mechanical pump sets, ensuring safe, compliant work and timely service.

The role requires practical electrical engineering skills, a valid UK driving licence, and the ability to work Monday–Friday, 40 hours with on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• JIB Qualified Electrician with ECS Gold card (18th edition).
• Full UK Driving Licence; company van provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation work efficiently in accordance with IEC/IEE regs and safety standards.
• Maintain, install, service and repair electrical/mechanical pump sets within the hire fleet and customer units.
• Produce reports and estimates for repair units and advise on safety issues.
• Maintain good housekeeping and keep work areas and vehicles clean.
• Ensure all Risk Assessments and Method Statements are followed.
• Communicate with manager and customers on timelines, quality and service levels.
• Work independently and manage own workloads and call-outs.
• Attend branch call-outs as part of a rota (1 in 6 weeks).
