Job summary

Selwood, part of the Workdry International Group, is expanding its electrical division and seeks a Mobile Electrician in the Saltash area to install, service and repair electrical and mechanical pump sets across branches and customer sites.

The role operates Monday to Friday with a 40-hour week and an on-call rota, requiring an ECS Gold Card or equivalent and a JIB qualification, plus a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Essential qualification as a JIB Electrician and eligibility to obtain an ECS Gold card (18th edition).
• Possess a Full UK Driving Licence for the company van provided for work.
• Electrical installation experience and safety compliance to IE Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, service and repair of pump sets.
• Work across branches and customer sites in the south region safely and efficiently.
• Produce repair reports and cost estimates; advise on safety issues as needed.
• Maintain good housekeeping in work areas and vehicles; follow RIS and MTM requirements.
• Communicate with manager and customers on timelines, quality and service levels.
• Be able to work independently and handle call-outs on a rota (approx. 1 in 6 weeks).
