Job summary

Selwood Ltd is seeking a Mobile Electrician to join our team based in Bridgend. You will install, maintain, service and repair electrical and mechanical pump sets across the south region, working Monday to Friday with an on‑call rota.

An ECS Gold Card or equivalent qualifications in Electrical Installations are essential, along with a valid UK driving licence. The role offers a company van for work use, enhanced overtime pay, and a comprehensive benefits package including pension, Medicash, and

Qualifications

• Essential to be a JIB Qualified Electrician and to be able to meet the requirements to obtain an ECS Gold card - 18th edition.
• Full UK Driving Licence (as company van is provided).

Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical installation work efficiently in accordance with the current I.E.E. Regulations for Electrical Installations and the Construction Industry Safety Regulations.
• Maintaining, installing, servicing and repairing electrical/mechanical pump sets within the hire fleet and any customer units as required to the required legislative standards.
• Producing reports and estimates for repair sets and advising on safety issues as necessary.
• Keeping a good standard of housekeeping ensuring work areas and vehicles are kept in good order and clean.
• Ensuring all necessary Risk Assessment/Method Statements are adhered to.
• Communicating regularly and effectively with your manager and all internal and external customers and stakeholders regarding business and customer expectations on timelines, quality and overall service levels.
• Being self‑driven, with the ability to work independently to manage own workloads and call outs.
• Attending call outs for the branch as part of a call‑out rota which is 1 in 6 weeks.
