Job summary

Jonta M&E in Peterborough is seeking an experienced Electrician for a permanent role. The position covers MOD and secure sites across the eastern region and is a mobile role with a 37-hour week, offering strong work-life balance.

The successful candidate will perform electrical testing (EICRs, PAT, LPS) and supervise subcontractors, with occasional small installation work and overtime when needed. A Gold Card with 2391 and MOD SC clearance sponsorship are required.

Qualifications

• Gold Card with 2391 qualification is required.
• Experience with EICRs, PAT testing and other electrical testing is essential.
• Willingness to travel across the eastern region for a mobile role.
• Ability to obtain MOD SC clearance, which will be sponsored by the client.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical testing including EICRs, PAT testing and LPS testing across MOD and secure sites.
• Escort and supervise subcontractors on site, ensuring works are completed safely and to the required standards.
• Complete electrical maintenance and minor remedial works where required.
• Support occasional small electrical installation projects, with overtime when additional works are required.
• Complete relevant paperwork, reports and documentation following completed works and site visits.
