We provide the full range of Facilities Management and M&E services including refurbishment and repair, planned maintenance, installation, energy conservation and project design.

As a Commercial Electrician at Ford Mainwaring, you will be providing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance at various sites across the North West and Midlands. This will include maintenance of lighting systems, LV power and cable management, fault finding and repair across various sites. This will predominantly include prison estates, but could also include defence sites, highways and infrastructure, and the education sector.

We have a very loyal and dedicated workforce of mobile engineers, many of whom have been with the business for many years.

Please note: The hours of work will be 8am – 4.30pm, 5 days per week, plus a structured overtime package depending on business operational requirements and out of hours on call service rota.

The role of Commercial Electrician will include:

·Perform planned, reactive and emergency electricalmaintenance tasks, ensuring all required paperwork is completed.

·Carry out installation works across various commercial sites.

·Attend emergencies/call outs as required.

·Analyse faults, rectify and ensure correct operation of systems.

·To always ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations.

What we need from you:

•Qualified as an Electrician with 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.

•Must be confident working on commercial electrical installations.

•Must have proven fault finding and diagnostic skills.

•Must be familiar with tablet based CAFM systems.
