Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking an experienced Mobile Electrician to service the West Midlands on a long-term basis. You will work hands-on installing, maintaining and testing electrical systems, with company van provided and a commitment to safe, regulatory-compliant work across multiple sites.

The role offers a long-term workload, immediate starts, and the security of a structured framework within a leading infrastructure contractor. 40+ hours per week are typical.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Inspection & Testing Qualification (2391, 2394/2395 or equivalent).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience working as a mobile or maintenance electrician.

Responsibilities

• Electrical installation, maintenance and remedial works.
• Inspection, testing and fault finding.
• Planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.
• Working on pumps, motors, control equipment and distribution systems.
• Completing test certificates and associated documentation.
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with current regulations.
• Travelling between sites using a company‑provided van.

Morson Edge are recruiting for experienced Mobile Electricians to join a leading infrastructure contractor delivering maintenance, installation, inspection and testing works across the Canal & River Trust network throughout the West Midlands

This is a long‑term opportunity offering consistent work, a company vehicle and the chance to work on a secure framework maintaining critical infrastructure assets.

Duties

• Electrical installation, maintenance and remedial works
• Inspection, testing and fault finding
• Planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites
• Working on pumps, motors, control equipment and distribution systems

• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with current regulations
• Travelling between sites using a company‑provided van

Essential Requirements

Ideal Experience

Experience with pumps, motors, control panels, MCCs, containment and fault finding would be highly advantageous.
