The Role:

We are looking for a skilled Mobile Electrical Technician to support the operation and maintenance of electrical building services across multiple sites. You will ensure system reliability, respond to faults, and adhere to health & safety regulations while maintaining our % uptime guarantee.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain HV systems, UPS, generators, control systems, and lighting across multiple sites.
  • Perform routine maintenance, fault diagnosis, and emergency repairs to ensure system reliability.
  • Conduct plant inspections, compliance audits, and statutory testing (fire safety, emergency lighting, water treatment, etc.).
  • Ensure high standards of safety and housekeeping, managing risk assessments and work permits.
  • Provide technical support and supervision for contractors and specialist service providers.
  • Maintain comprehensive shift handovers and records of all electrical and engineering activities.
  • Assist with spares ordering, contractor coordination, and small works projects.
What We're Looking For:
  • 5+ years experience in Electrical Building Services (PFI contract experience desirable).
  • City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 (or equivalent) in an electrical discipline.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations trained.
  • Experience with HV systems, control panels, air conditioning, and emergency power systems.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and across multiple sites.
  • IT literacy and ability to manage compliance records.
  • HV Authorised Person certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Full UK driving licence (essential due to the mobile nature of the role).
