Job summary

Fusion People Ltd is seeking a mobile Electrician to deliver electrical installation, maintenance, testing and repair services across domestic, commercial and social housing sectors in Birmingham. Hours are 8:00–16:30 with a temp contract.

You will perform EICRs, inspections and certify work, adhering to BS7671 and H&S regulations. Candidate must hold Level 2/3 electrical qualifications, 18th Edition, City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent), and a Gold JIB Card, plus a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

Level 2 and Level 3 Electrical Installation qualifications required.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) required.
City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent).
Gold JIB Card.
Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and repair works within domestic, commercial, and social housing properties.
Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and provide accurate certification.
Perform inspection and testing of electrical systems in accordance with current regulations.
Undertake full and partial rewires as required.
Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently and safely.
Complete remedial works identified through inspections and testing.
Ensure compliance with BS7671 Wiring Regulations and all relevant health and safety legislation.
Maintain accurate job records, certification, and documentation.
Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with tenants, clients, and stakeholders.
Work independently and as part of a wider maintenance team.
