Job summary

Project Start Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Electrician to perform on-site electrical maintenance across the North West. The role covers maintenance on electrical systems for commercial offices, industrial units, retail, and student accommodation, with occasional night away.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in electrical/HVAC maintenance, with AM2, 18th Edition and BS7671 knowledge. A company vehicle is provided along with a pension and healthcare benefits.

Qualifications

• Approved electrical apprenticeship completed.
• AM2 certification (Essential).
• 18th Edition wiring regs essential.
• 2391 Testing & Inspection beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and reactive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Deliver planned preventive maintenance and responsive repair services for electrical installations, including lighting and distribution boards.
• Diagnose faults, repair, replace, and upgrade lighting and wiring per BS 7671.
• Conduct electrical testing, rewires, and emergency lighting maintenance.
• Handle basic Mechanical Ppms.
• Maintain fire alarms, security systems and automated controls.
• Ensure health and safety standards and maintain accurate maintenance records.
