TipTopJob in Reading is seeking a Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to service electrical systems across commercial sites. You will perform planned maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and undertake minor installations.

The role offers a competitive GBP43,000 salary, van, on-call/OT, and ongoing training. Applicants should hold NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation, AM2, and 18th Edition, plus a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation is required.
• AM2 certificate is required.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance and repair.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid UK driving licence is essential (travel between sites).

Responsibilities

• Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform reactive maintenance tasks.
• Undertake minor installation tasks related to power, lighting, and distribution.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults and perform timely repairs.
• Ensure health and safety compliance at all times.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report findings.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient maintenance operations.
