Job summary

Kraken Works Limited is seeking a practical Electrical Field Service Engineer to provide front-line support across Kraken’s customer network. You will travel to customer sites across the UK and overseas, diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs with a fully equipped service van.

You will read electrical drawings, use test equipment and triage faults to determine on-site resolution or escalation. A hands-on engineer with strong communication is required.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical fault-finding experience across DC/AC systems.
• Experience maintaining and repairing power distribution, batteries and chargers.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing faults at customer sites and performing repairs.
• Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance and inspections.
• Support remote fault diagnosis via the business portal.
• Maintain service records and handover documentation.
