Job Description:

MOBILE ENGINEER Electrically Bias – Southeast

Here at Wates, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Mobile Engineer to join our Facilities Management mobile team supporting our clients based in the Southeast region.

The main objective is to carry out Planned Preventative Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance (PPM) and compliance tasks as required, including Reactive Maintenance and extra works/emergencies, in accordance with the contract requirements on Electrical and Mechanical Services.

You will also join our call-out rota for the region.

To be successful in this role, you should ideally have:

• Previous FM experience managing multiple sites
• Electrical qualification such as NVQ or City & Guilds, Level 3 or equivalent
• Hold 18th edition
• Good knowledge of plant room and day-to-day building maintenance, including compliance tasks
• Excellent record keeping and computer literacy

Key Accountabilities include:

• Ensuring all works comply with legislation and contractual obligations
• Utilising CAFM/PDA technology for real-time job updates and providing detailed reports
• Responding promptly to reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests related to mechanical systems
• Responding to call-outs and covering breakdowns and emergencies related to electrical and mechanical services
