Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Static Maintenance Engineer for a Greenford distribution centre, working days (6am–2:30pm or 9:30am–6pm). You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across the site, keeping essential building services supported.

The role focuses on hands-on facilities maintenance with fault-finding ability. A stable, day-based role with on-call duties 1-in-5 and travel paid door-to-door is offered.

Qualifications

• Hands-on facilities maintenance experience.
• Experience with general building services is desirable but not essential.
• Practical fault-finding abilities and willingness to get involved.

Role

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across the site.
• Maintain general building services, including plumbing, fire alarms, emergency lighting and sprinkler systems.
• Carry out first-line checks and resets on loading bay doors.
• Attend breakdowns, diagnose faults and keep equipment running safely.
• Experience with fan coil units, VRVs and split systems would be beneficial, but isn’t essential.
• Participate in a 1-in-5 on-call rota.

What's on Offer?

• £40,000 salary
• Day shifts: 6am–2:30pm or 9:30am–6pm.
• Greenford position is permanent early shifts (6am–2:30pm).
• 1-in-5 on-call rota, with a 4-hour minimum payment per call-out and door-to-door paid travel.
• First-stage interview via Microsoft Teams, followed by a site walkaround.

We’re looking for someone with a decent facilities maintenance background and practical experience across general building services. Formal qualifications are not the main priority. We’re more interested in your hands‑on maintenance experience, fault‑finding ability and willingness to get stuck in.
