Job summary

HVAC Recruitment Limited is seeking a Static Maintenance Engineer for a Greenford distribution centre. Static Maintenance Engineer

£40,000 | Greenford / Distribution Centres | Days

We're recruiting for a Static Maintenance Engineer to join a facilities maintenance team supporting a major supermarket distribution contract.

This is a hands-on building services role, ideal for someone with a solid FM background who's comfortable carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a busy distribution environment.

The Role

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across the site.
• Maintain general building services, including plumbing, fire alarms, emergency lighting and sprinkler systems.
• Carry out first-line checks and resets on loading bay doors.
• Attend breakdowns, diagnose faults and keep equipment running safely.
• Experience with fan coil units, VRVs and split systems would be beneficial, but isn't essential.
• Participate in a 1-in-5 on-call rota.

What's on Offer?

• £40,000 salary
• Day shifts: 6am-2:30pm or 9:30am-6pm.
• Greenford position is permanent early shifts (6am-2:30pm).
• 1-in-5 on-call rota, with a 4-hour minimum payment per call-out and door-to-door paid travel.
• First-stage interview via Microsoft Teams, followed by a site walkaround.

About You

We're looking for someone with a decent facilities maintenance background and practical experience across general building services.

Formal qualifications are not the main priority. We're more interested in your hands-on maintenance experience, fault-finding ability and willingness to get stuck in.
