Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer to cover Colchester and the Chelmsford area, delivering reactive repairs, maintenance tasks, and minor project works across domestic, industrial and commercial installations.

You will ensure full compliance with safe systems of work, risk assessments and health and safety documentation, while following client-specific processes. You will maintain accurate records and meet SLA deadlines, using a PDA and CAFM tools as needed.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification is required.
• City & Guilds Electrician or Building Services equivalent qualification is required.
• Qualified to 18th Edition IEE Regulations.
• Strong organisational skills and a positive attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a flexible approach.
• Confidence using a PDA and CAFM systems for job management and email.

Responsibilities

• Deliver reactive repairs, maintenance tasks, and minor projects across Colchester and Chelmsford.
• Ensure compliance with safe systems of work, risk assessments, method statements and health & safety documentation.
• Follow client-specific working processes and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of completed works and follow-up recommendations.
• Complete planned and reactive repairs in line with SLA requirements and deadlines.
• Demonstrate strong building services knowledge and carry out multi-skilled tasks when required.
• Assist with minor new works and small project installations.
• Provide proactive, customer-focused communication and service delivery.
• Adhere to FM procedures and systems with clear record-keeping.
• Work across domestic, industrial and commercial installations.
• Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota and occasional overtime.
