Job summary

Cambridge Maintenance Services Limited, based in Bedford, is a nationwide provider of mechanical and electrical building services maintenance with 34+ years of experience. The Mobile Electrical Engineer role involves delivering planned and reactive maintenance across electrical systems at client sites, with provided company van, phone, tablet and uniform.

Qualified candidates will have City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent), 18th Edition, and a full UK driving licence, plus strong fault-finding

Qualifications

• Qualified electrical installation (City & Guilds Level 3) and testing qualifications.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to work independently.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills on electrical systems.
• Experience with planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and records.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across electrical systems.
• Record keeping in Elogbooks facilities management system.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules with Lead Engineer and Support Desk Supervisor.
• Participate in the out-of-hours emergency rota.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and industry regulations.
• Build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
