Kier Group plc. in Oldham is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support a mobile role across our Oldham sites, delivering planned maintenance and quick first-time fixes to keep buildings operating.

You'll carry out preventative and reactive tasks, tests and certifications, recording results in CAFM and coordinating with the Helpdesk while supervising subcontractor work. Level 3 electrical qualifications and a driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Electrical Qualifications such as C&G 236, C&G 2391-52, 18th Edition, C&G 2382.
• Full driving licence is required.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills; able to work under pressure.
• Proficient with tablets/computers to update tasks and control sheets.

Responsabilités

• Completing Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks including emergency lighting testing, fire alarm activation testing, and generator testing
• Carrying out reactive electrical tasks such as lighting and power installations, socket replacement, and fault diagnosis
• Conducting electrical tests and certification of all works in accordance with regulations
• Recording maintenance results on CAFM system and liaising with the Helpdesk regarding work progress
• Supporting sub-contractor work through induction, monitoring, and ensuring correct procedures are in place
