Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Chesterfield seeks a Mobile Multi-Skilled Electrical Bias Engineer to maintain and upgrade electrical systems across client sites, including data centres or trading floors, ensuring safety and optimal performance.

You will respond to breakdowns within SLA, manage modular UPS, conduct site surveys, and prepare risk assessments while working within health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations certification.
• Experience with BMS, HVAC systems, chilled water circuits and chilled beams.
• CDM processes and health & safety qualifications (COSHH, risk assessments).
• Testing and inspection of electrical systems.
• Authorised Person certification (e.g., AP15/12).
• Water hygiene knowledge (L8).

Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdown maintenance requests within SLA timelines.
• Maintain and repair modular UPS systems and diagnose power quality issues.
• Conduct risk-focused maintenance and monitor critical systems.
• Provide emergency response and elevate urgent issues.
• Complete reactive Helpdesk requests and ensure documentation is up to date.
• Undertake site surveys, produce method statements and risk assessments.
• Install and upgrade plant equipment and interpret technical drawings.
• Monitor environmental conditions and equipment loading.
• Ensure compliance with financial and health & safety processes.
• Prepare incident reports and root cause analyses for system outages.
