Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer / Authorised Person (AP) to join our team in East Anglia. The role focuses on maintaining and installing electrical plant and equipment, resolving faults swiftly, and supporting critical systems operations.

You will act as the electrical AP, manage breakdowns within SLA, and oversee UPS and generator maintenance while applying risk-focused strategies for essential plant and systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience as a qualified electrical engineer.
• Experience with generators and UPS maintenance.
• 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations (Amendment 2/3).

Responsibilities

• Act as the electrical Authorised Person (AP)
• Respond to breakdown maintenance requests within SLA
• Maintain and inspect UPS systems, generators, and commercial installations
• Apply risk-focused maintenance strategies for critical plant/systems
• Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and works requests
• Undertake upgrade and installation projects
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with financial processes
• Support incident reporting and root cause analysis
