Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer / Authorised Person (AP) to join our team in East Anglia. The role focuses on maintaining and installing electrical plant, ensuring swift fault resolution, and supporting critical system operations.

You will act as the electrical AP, respond to breakdowns, and manage UPS and generator maintenance while implementing risk-based maintenance across installations.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations (Amendment 2/3).
• Previous AP appointment (e.g., AP15/12).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a qualified electrical engineer.
• Experience with generators and UPS maintenance.
• Strong understanding of building maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdown maintenance requests within SLA.
• Maintain and inspect UPS systems, generators, and commercial installations.

Desirable

• Knowledge of BMS, HVAC systems, and CDM processes
• Health & Safety qualifications (IOSH/NEBOSH)

• Water hygiene (L8) awareness
