Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer / Authorised Person (AP) to join our team in East Anglia. You will maintain and install electrical plant and equipment, respond to faults, and support critical systems operations across multiple sites in East Anglia.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years as a qualified electrical engineer and hands-on experience with generators, UPS maintenance, and AP appointment.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrical engineer with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with generators and UPS maintenance.
• Knowledge of 18th Edition Regulations (Amendment 2/3) and AP appointment.

Responsibilities

• Act as the electrical Authorised Person (AP).
• Respond to breakdown maintenance requests within SLA.
• Maintain and inspect UPS systems and generators.
• Apply risk-focused maintenance strategies for critical plant/systems.
• Prepare method statements, risk assessments and works requests.
• Undertake upgrade and installation projects.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with financial processes.
• Support incident reporting and root cause analysis.
