Mobile Electrical Engineer – FM Service Provider

Location: CR Postcodes only, Croydon, Surrey

Salary: Up to £44,000 + Package

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Electrical Engineer to join an established Building Services company operating in the Croydon area.

Company Overview

CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting a mobile electrical engineer for planned and reactive commercial maintenance on a retail contract within CR Postcodes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. This role is suitable for someone currently in a similar position who is interested in career progression. The company offers a competitive salary and opportunities for advancement.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lighting installation, fault-finding, lamping, etc.
• Emergency lighting testing
• Control panel maintenance
• Changing ballasts
• BMS system monitoring (e.g., hot & cold)
• Carrying out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
• Maintaining and updating log books

Hours of Work & Package

• Basic salary up to £44,000
• 1 in 4 Call Out Rota with £15 per day standby allowance
• Monday – Friday, 08:00 am – 17:00 pm
• 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
• Company van and fuel card
• Tablet and work phone provided
• Full company uniform

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical (Essential)
• Gold Card (Essential)
• City & Guilds - 18th Edition (Essential)
• Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2 & 3
• Ability to provide copies of trade certificates
• Proven experience in commercial building maintenance
• Multiskilled with good communication skills
• Client-facing attitude
