Job summary

Approach Personnel Ltd is assisting a leading facilities management business in recruiting a Mobile Electrical Engineer for a permanent role across the wider London area. The role requires hands-on electrical & mechanical maintenance with a focus on PPM and reactive tasks, in a retail/commercial environment.

The candidate should hold City & Guilds 236/0 & 2330 Electrical Installation/Maintenance or equivalent, 18th Edition IEE and L8 Awareness.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Retail/Commercial maintenance environment.
• City & Guilds 236/0 & 2330 Electrical Installation/Maintenance or equivalent.
• 18th Edition IEE and L8 Awareness.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, as instructed by the Site supervisor & Contract Manager. Including, but not limited to full electrical & mechanical PPM and reactive works, minor building repairs, plumbing works including drainage and other general duties in support of the client's requirements.
• Close/update completed Reactive & PPM tasks on the site PDA computerised maintenance system
• Ensure standards of workmanship are maintained in order to maximise the operation, effectiveness and reliability of the building and associated systems
• Assist specialist subcontractors' requirements both for PPM and reactive works
• Ensure all site procedures are adhered to in all aspects

Key Requirements

• Worked or currently working in a similar Retail/Commercial maintenance environment.
• City & Guilds 236/0 & 2330 Electrical Installation/Maintenance or equivalent
• 18th Edition IEE
• L8 Awareness

Key Responsibilities
