Job summary

RGR in Essex/East London is recruiting three Mobile Maintenance Electricians for a permanent role with a company van and fuel card. You will perform planned maintenance, fault finding and reactive repairs across commercial properties in the Essex and East London area.

The role involves electrical PPMs, emergency light and fire alarm tests, lighting upgrades, socket and distribution work, and producing detailed remedial reports. Overtime and pension are available.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with UK driving license and relevant City & Guilds/NVQ papers.
• Experience with maintenance in commercial environments is desirable.
• Ability to perform PPMs and fault finding across buildings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical PPMs including emergency light and fire alarm tests.
• Perform fault finding, reactive maintenance, and repairs across properties.
• Install/maintain lighting, sockets, circuits and distribution systems.
• Produce detailed remedial and maintenance reports.

Job description

Mobile Maintenance Electrician | £42,000 | Permanent role with Van + Fuel Card | Essex/ East London | Commercial Properties.

Due to increased demand, we are actively recruiting for 3 Mobile Maintenance Electricians to work across the Essex/ East London area. You will be part of the maintenance team, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), fault finding and reactive maintenance.

Duties: Maintenance Electrician:

• Electrical PPMs - emergency light testing, fire alarm tests etc.
• Electrical fault finding, reactive maintenance and repair.
• Internal / External Lighting - lamps, ballasts, LED upgrades, emergency / safety lighting, security lighting, decorative lighting etc.
• Sockets, circuits, transformers, power distribution, cabling, wiring, floor boxes etc,
• Power supplies to HVAC and Security systems (AC units, fire alarms, access control panels etc).
• Electrical components within HVAC and security systems.
• Producing detailed remedial reports.

Employment Package: Maintenance Electrician:

• £42,000 Salary dependant on qualifications.
• Hours: 08:00 - 17:00
• Paid from when you leave your house to last job of the day.
• Paid Overtime Available.
• Call Out: 1 in 4 weeks. Standby Allowance + Paid per call out.
• Status: Permanent

Candidate Profile: Maintenance Electrician.

To be considered for our Maintenance Electrician role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Must be a qualified Electrical: City & Guilds 2360 Part 2 / City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Must have a UK driving license with under 9 points.
• Desirable: 2391 Testing and Inspection.
• Desirable: Experience in a maintenance role within commercial environments
