Job summary

Excel Engineering Recruitment LTD is seeking a Commercial Maintenance Plumber/Mechanical Engineer to join a mobile team covering the Manchester area. Based from home, you will perform plumbing maintenance, plantroom tasks and PPMs on domestic and commercial systems.

Applicants should have recognised plumbing qualifications (NVQ Plumbing and Heating preferred) and strong customer service. The role offers a (£35–£40k) salary, company van, fuel card, private healthcare and a pension.

Qualifications

• Recognised plumber/industry qualifications including NVQ Plumbing and Heating would be beneficial.
• Good customer services skills, well presented and articulate.
• Experience covering maintenance plumbing contracts - domestic/commercial.
• Hardworking, flexible, motivated and trustworthy.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing maintenance, plantroom maintenance and repair of plumbing systems.
• Carry out PPM schedules, leak detection, changing of pipes, pumps and valves.
• Repair and replacement of taps, toilets and other general plumbing tasks.
