Job summary

Excel Engineering Recruitment LTD seeks a Commercial Maintenance Plumber / mechanical engineer to cover mobile work from a home base across the South coast, M3/M4 corridor. You will service and repair commercial plumbing systems, boilers and plantrooms while supporting upgrades and ongoing maintenance contracts.

The role offers a salary of £40,000–£45,000 per year, a company van (for personal use), fuel card, enhanced travel pay, pension and 23 days’ holiday.

Qualifications

• NVQ 2 Plumbing and Heating recognised or equivalent.
• Good customer service and presentable.
• Experience with maintenance contracts for commercial properties including plantrooms.
• Willing to progress with business growth.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing maintenance and plantroom maintenance and repairs.
• Perform PPM schedules and leak detection.
• Upgrade plantroom components such as pumps, valves and motors.
• Opportunity to undertake gas qualifications when offered.

CANDIDATE INFORMATION - Commercial Maintenance Plumber / mechanical engineer

• Recognised plumber/industry qualifications including NVQ 2 Plumbing and Heating would be essential
• Good customer services skills, well-presented and articulate
• As a commercial plumber/mechanical engineer you will have experience of covering maintenance plumbing contracts of a commercial nature with knowledge of plantroom maintenance including changing pumps, valves, motors etc
• Experience on plantroom upgrades, installation of pipework etc
• Hardworking and flexible ,motivated and trustworthy

JOB INFORMATION - Commercial Maintenance Plumber / mechanical engineer

As a commercial plumber /mechanical engineer you would be based from home - working on a mobile basis you would be responsible for carrying out plumbing maintenance, plantroom maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems along with plantroom refurbs and upgrades.

You would be responsible for carrying out PPM schedules, leak detection, changing of pipes, pumps, valves, motors etc
