SHIFT PATTERN: Likely to be 8-5 on site (but could involve weekends / nights if required)

PAY RATE: £13.15 per hour

About ABM Critical Solutions

We provide comprehensive specialist deep cleaning in critical environments, including cleaning of floor surfaces and voids, air conditioning equipment, trunking, ducting, lighting systems, and areas of high sensitivity such as IT components including servers, UPS systems, and telephone exchange equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform cleaning duties at various sites based on a scheduled rota.
  2. Conduct deep cleaning and touchpoint cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.
  3. Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively according to industry guidelines.
  4. Respond to and resolve cleaning-related tasks and issues as they arise.
  5. Maintain accurate records of cleaning tasks and report concerns.
  6. Assist with setting up and breaking down cleaning equipment for special projects.
  7. Collaborate with the cleaning team and supervisors to ensure high standards.
  8. Attend a full induction day, including training on specialist equipment.
  9. The role may involve weekend work and staying away from home, for which accommodation and subsistence expenses are provided.
  10. All necessary uniform, PPE, tools, and equipment are provided.
  11. Employment is subject to a DBS check and a 3-month probation period.
  12. The work can be physically demanding, with shifts typically lasting 10-12 hours including travel.
  13. Beneficial but not essential requirements include: CSCS Card, IPAF, PASMA, First Aid certificate.
Minimum Requirements
  1. Previous experience in cleaning or facilities management, preferably in a mobile role.
  2. Strong understanding of cleaning products, tools, and equipment.
  3. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning.
  4. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while traveling.
  5. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
  6. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are essential.
  7. Flexibility in hours and location.
