Royal Mail P&FS are now recruiting for Mobile Cleaning Operatives at Havant Delivery Office.

Job Reference Number: 325058

Pay: £12.50 per hour.

Benefits: 20 days annual leave, rising to 25 after 5 years’ service, plus bank holidays, uniform, PPE, employee referral scheme, and Defined Contribution pension scheme, a work van, and car parking.

Contract type: Permanent

Working hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday.

As part of Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions, you will work from 08:00 to 16:00, either as part of a team or as the only cleaner on site, ensuring we continue to deliver high standards of service to our customers.

About the Role

As a mobile commercial cleaning operative, you will be responsible for several locations in the PO, SO, and SP postcode areas, covering annual leave, absences, etc. You’ll perform tasks including mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, dusting, and sanitising surfaces to a high standard.

Full training will be provided for operating various cleaning equipment. The role is physically demanding and involves manual handling activities.

Driving Licence

A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points is required, given the role's nature and the distances between locations. We provide a work vehicle (van) and cover fuel expenses between sites.

About You

Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential. You should be friendly, with good communication skills, able to interact with customers and managers while adhering to Health & Safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently, managing your own time remotely.
