Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions is seeking a Mobile Cleaning Operative to cover sites across the Leicester postcode area. The role is 37.5 hours a week on a fixed-term 4‑month contract, with a 6am to 12:25pm schedule and a company van provided for site travel.

You will perform cleaning tasks across multiple sites, independently or as part of a team, with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards while complying with health and safety guidelines.

Schedule: Monday to Saturday 6am to 12.25pm

About the Role

Mobile Cleaning Operative, you'll travel between multiple sites in the Leicester postcode area, covering for absences and holidays. Your responsibilities will include a range of cleaning tasks, including:

• Mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
• Cleaning toilets, floors and offices
• Emptying bins and sanitising surfaces
• Litter picking within yard and car park areas

You'll be working independently or as part of a team, helping us maintain the high standards our customers expect.

This is a physical role that involves manual handling, but don't worry - we'll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.

Driving Licence Required

Due to the mobile nature of this role, you'll need a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points. A work van will be provided for travel between sites.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, reliable, and self-motivated
• Able to manage their own time and work independently
• Comfortable using cleaning equipment (training provided)
• A good communicator who follows Health & Safety guidelines

Previous cleaning experience is helpful, but not essential.
