Job summary

Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions is recruiting a Mobile Cleaning Operative to keep our sites sparkling across York and surrounding areas. You will work 37.5 hours weekly (mon-fri 8:00–14:30, sat 8:00–13:00), on a fixed-term 6-month contract, with a company van provided for travel between sites.

You will mop, vacuum, dust and sanitise surfaces, clean toilets and offices, and manage waste and litter across sites with support as needed.

Qualifications

Location: York and the surrounding area.Job Reference Number: 345451Pay: £13.10 per hour.Contract Type: Fixed Term 6 months.Hours: 37.5 hours a week.Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am to 2.30pm. Saturday 8am to 1pm.

About the Role

Driving Licence Required

Due to the mobile nature of this role, you’ll need a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points. A work van will be provided for travel between sites.
