Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Cleaner at Hoddesdon Delivery Office to perform cleaning duties across offices and common areas. The role is part-time, 10.25 hours per week, with shifts Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 11:45. Training and on-site support are provided to maintain high cleanliness standards.

Pay is £13.85 per hour. The opportunity offers a permanent contract, uniform and PPE, and a defined contribution pension scheme.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include a range of cleaning tasks, including:

• Mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
• Cleaning toilets, floors and offices
• Emptying bins and sanitising surfaces
• Litter picking within yard and car park areas

This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling, but don’t worry—we’ll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, reliable, and self-motivated
• Able to work independently and manage their own time
• Comfortable communicating with customers and managers
• Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety

Previous cleaning experience is a bonus, but not essential.
