Job summary

ABM UK is seeking a Mobile Cleaner to cover morning, evening and occasional weekend shifts across Glasgow and surrounding areas. You will clean offices and common areas, including desks, kitchens and toilets, with attention to detail and safety compliance. You will liaise with site teams and customers as required.

The role requires reliability, good attendance and timekeeping, with duties varying by site. A supportive benefits package is offered and you will work across multiple premises as part

Responsibilities

• Dusting, wiping, and disinfecting desks and surfaces
• Scrubbing kitchens and toilets
• Hoovering and mopping floors
• Disinfecting high touch points
• Detail work on skirtings, sills, fixtures, etc.
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Report deficiencies in systems, equipment or health & safety risks
• Use PPE correctly and attend trainings as required
• Raise issues or training needs to line manager or reporting system

LOCATION: To work between various locations in Glasgow and surrounding areas

CONTRACT: Permanent, 20 hours per week

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

ABM is looking for hardworking and proactive cleaner to join our team in Glasgow.

You will be covering range of premises and cover holiday and sickness cover. Duties will involve cleaning of office areas and includes hoovering, mopping, desk wiping, kitchen, and toilet cleaning, external work of litter picking and waste removal, common areas, corridors and basements. You will be asked to work along Teams on sites and on occasions liaise with Customers. You must have good attention to detail and high standards of cleaning. You will be responsible for disinfecting areas as per planner. You must have level of flexibility, good timekeeping and work ethic. Work will include morning and evening cleaning and occasional weekend.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Dusting, wiping, and disinfecting desks and all surfaces
• Scrubbing kitchens and toilets
• Hoovering and mopping floors
• Disinfecting all high touch points
• Detail work i.e. skirtings, sills, fixtures etc
• Following group and company policies and procedures
• Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.
• Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
• Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system.

Experience in office cleaning and good grasp of Health and safety issues

Must be hardworking and with good attendance, work to routine schedules and to be able to proactively find tasks
