Thorn Baker Recruitment is seeking a reliable and flexible Mobile Cleaner to support multiple leisure facilities across Central Scotland. You will travel between sites, maintaining high cleaning standards and reporting to the Area Manager, with shifts across mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.

The role runs as an initial 3-month assignment with a potential permanent position after review, offering 30–40 hours per week at £14.50 per hour, plus travel mileage and facility perks.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• A positive attitude with a strong eye for detail.
• Reliable, organised and confident working independently.
• Flexible to travel between different sites and teams.
• Availability to cover morning, afternoon, evening and weekend shifts.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable, particularly within leisure, gym or commercial environments.

Responsabilités

• Cleaning gyms, studios and communal leisure facilities.
• Deep cleaning changing rooms and floor areas.
• Maintaining high standards across poolside areas, spas and glass surfaces.
• Cleaning toilets, showers and other customer facilities.
• Operating cleaning machinery and using products safely, with training provided.
• Supporting existing cleaning teams during busy periods and providing cover where required.

Do you enjoy variety in your working day and take pride in delivering high cleaning standards? We’re looking for a reliable, flexible and motivated Mobile Cleaner to support multiple leisure facilities across Central Scotland.

Working as part of an established cleaning team, you’ll travel between various sites, helping maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation. You’ll work closely with site teams and report directly to the Area Manager.

What you’ll be doing

Hours and flexibility

You’ll work between 30-40 hours per week, covering sites operating between 6:00am and 10:00pm.

Shifts will vary and may include mornings, evenings and weekends. Rotas will aim to be confirmed at least one week in advance, although some flexibility will be required to meet operational needs.
