Job summary

JDR Recruitment are recruiting a Mobile Cleaner to work at leisure centres across Glasgow and Edinburgh. You will clean gyms, studios, changing rooms, poolside areas and facilities, using cleaning machinery and products with training provided.

Shifts run across mornings, evenings and weekends, 30–40 hours per week with rota pre-notified. You’ll have a full driving licence and access to your own car, with travel between clubs, mileage paid, and 55p per mile.

Qualifications

• A full driving licence and access to your own car are essential.
• Reliable with attention to detail and pride in high cleaning standards.
• Willingness to cover varied shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Experience in leisure or gym cleaning is desirable.

What you will be doing:

• Cleaning gyms, studios and shared club facilities.
• Deep cleaning changing-room floors.
• Cleaning poolside areas, spas and glass surfaces.
• Keeping toilets, showers and other amenities clean and welcoming.
• Using cleaning machinery and products safely, with training and support provided.

What we are looking for:

• A full driving licence and access to your own car are essential.
• A positive attitude, attention to detail and pride in delivering excellent standards.
• Reliability and confidence working across different clubs and teams.
• Flexibility to cover morning, afternoon, evening and weekend shifts.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable, particularly in leisure or gym environments.

Hours and flexibility:

You'll work 30-40 hours per week across clubs operating between 6:00am and 10:00pm. Shifts will vary, including mornings, evenings and weekends. We aim to confirm rotas at least one week in advance, although some flexibility is needed to respond to club requirements.

What you will receive:

• £14.50 per hour, plus paid work-related travel time and mileage at 55p per mile.
• Membership access to the leisure clubs you support.

• Support from your Area Manager and the wider team
• An initial three-month appointment, with a review for a potential permanent position.
