Job summary

Great Places Housing Group is seeking a Mobile Caretaker for 35 hours per week on-site in our neighbourhood communities. You will maintain cleanliness, safety and general upkeep of estates and communal areas while presenting a positive image of the housing group.

Requirements include a Full UK driving licence, hands-on experience as a caretaker or handy person, IT proficiency with PDAs, and a flexible, team-orientated approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standard of cleanliness, safety and repair to estates, blocks and schemes.
• Carry out housekeeping tasks: hoovering, sweeping, mopping, cleaning of communal doors and areas.
• Perform Health & Safety checks to ensure areas are free from hazards and report issues to Compliance.
• Carry out minor repairs and proactive maintenance in communal areas (light bulbs, door handles, moss removal, painting, graffiti removal, etc.).
