Job summary

McCarthy & Stone Ltd is seeking Mobile Care Assistants to support older homeowners across York, Pocklington and Stamford Bridge areas. You’ll travel between developments providing personal care, domestic support and companionship, with mileage paid and travel expenses covered.

The role includes rota-based hours, flexibility for mornings, evenings and weekends, and training opportunities. An active UK driving licence and access to a car are essential to apply.

Qualifications

• Previous care environment experience preferred, but not essential as full training is provided.
• Must have a valid full UK driving licence and access to own car.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy and good time management are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and domestic tasks to homeowners.
• Assist with daily activities, transport and companionship as part of a mobile care service.
• Travel between developments to deliver care and maintain high standards of cleanliness and wellbeing.
