Job summary

McCarthy Stone is seeking a Mobile Care Assistant to join our care team across Downend and surrounding areas. The role involves personal care and domestic tasks, with travel between developments and a rota including mornings, evenings and alternate weekends.

You will help homeowners with daily activities, household tasks, companionship, and wellbeing activities, while adhering to care standards and contributing to a supportive living environment.

Qualifications

• Valid full UK driving licence and access to own car.
• Experience in care or domestic/housekeeping roles encouraged but training provided.
• Strong interpersonal skills and empathy required for working with older homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised care including daily activities, personal hygiene and medication assistance.
• Maintain communal areas in developments to a high standard and assist with domestic tasks.
• Support social activities, transport arrangements and appointments to enhance wellbeing.
